Art
“Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he/she grows up”
- Pablo Picasso
Welcome to the Art Stop. I am your teacher, Mrs. Gull. I have been teaching for 33years, 28 of those in the Deer Creek District so I have a lot of Antler Pride! I graduated from Oklahoma State University (GO POKES) with a Bachelor of Art Education degree and received National Teachers Certification in 2006. I love all forms of the arts including dance, music and drama, which I taught for 6 years. Travel is a large part of my life. I studied art throughout Europe and love sharing my knowledge with my students. Every year I take a group of kids to New York City to experience the Arts.
I have been married for 44 years, and have 4 children, seven grandchildren, and one dog. I am a working artist and love to create my own works. Currently I am working with mixed media, watercolors, colored pencils as well as pen and ink. I am excited to see all the “new creativity” as it unfolds at the Art Stop this year. I also believe every child is an artist. I look forward to working with and meeting my new 5th & 6th grade students.
Artistically, Mrs. Gull
